HIS Majesty King Hamad performed Eid Al Fitr prayers at Sakhir Palace yesterday.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, the King's sons, senior Ruling Family members, the Shura and parliament chairmen, ministers, clerics, dignitaries, senior officials and defence officers also performed the prayers.

Later, His Majesty and HRH the Crown Prince received well-wishers.

Thousands of worshippers also converged at mosques across Bahrain to perform the prayers.

Prayers started early in the morning with traditional fervour with a virtual sea of humanity visible at all places.
