THE organising committee of the 29th Seqaya Ramadan Football Tournament held its annual festival at the Seqaya grounds in Salmaniya.
The festival featured an exhibition match between a selection of players competing in the main tournament, who were divided into two teams - Al Seba'a and Abdulrasool Ahmed.
Al Seba'a won the game 3-1, thanks to a brace from Abdulla Al Qaydoom and one by Jaffer Ali, while Abbas Abdulla scored the only goal for Abdulrasool Ahmed team.
The game was followed by prize-presentation ceremony where all the participants received commemorative gifts from organising committee vice-chairman Ramzi Makki and Fathi Al Shakar on this occasion.
It was also attended by former parliament council member Abdulmajeed Al Seba'a, Sitra Butchery owner Abdulla Al Qassab, Al Qaydoom Manpower owner Abdulla Al Qaydoom and other officials.
Meanwhile, the curtains are set to come down on the main championship today at 4.30pm when Al Qaydoom Manpower, captained by Abdulla Al Qaydoom, face Yaqoub Ishaq-captained Sitra Butchery at the same venue.
Both teams were battling in the same Group 'C' during the first round where Sitra Butchery defeated Al Qaydoom 6-3 to top the group on goal difference.
Today's final will be followed by the closing ceremony, during which all the 10 teams taking part will be honoured by Abdulmajeed Al Seba'a as well as Municipal Council and one of the tournament's sponsors Fadel Al Qaydoom.
The tournament got underway with 10 teams in the fray. They were drawn into two groups of five teams, with the best three from each group reaching the top six second round.
