MANAMA: Tomorrow is the first day of Eid.

His Majesty King Hamad last night exchanged Eid greetings with Arab and Islamic leaders.

The moon-sighting panel, led by Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs president Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa, said after a meeting last night it had received no testimonies confirming the advent of the Shawal Crescent.

Authorities have promised extra patrols to regulate Eid traffic rush.
