MANAMA: Two Bahrainis have been arrested for using counterfeit documents on the false promise of helping people obtain Bahraini passports.

The anti-corruption, economic and electronic security acting general director said last night that his department had launched an investigation following a number of complaints.

The two were caught red-handed. Investigations revealed they were wanted in other financial crimes. They have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
