A PARTNERSHIP between Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority (BECA) and Fakhri Travel and Tourism Company (FTTC) to organise the upcoming Health and Wellness Expo 2013 was announced yesterday.

The event is scheduled to be held at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Sanabis from April 16 to 18 next year.

The expo is supported by the ministries of Industry and Commerce and Health and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Health and Wellness Expo (HWE) aims to promote well-being and holistic lifestyle practices that will make a positive difference in one's day-to-day living.

Its goal is to educate GCC residents to live a good and healthy life. Regional and international experts from Bahrain, India, Thailand and Hong Kong are expected to participate in the event. They include professionals from hospitals, health and wellness centres, representatives from companies and other stakeholders in the health sector.
