MANAMA Club has named its new board of directors for a new four-year period, in the presence of General Organisation for Youth and Sports representatives.

During its regular general assembly meeting, held at the club's premises in Juffair, Manama Club has re-elected Zuhair Kazerooni as president of the board of directors for a second consecutive term.

Other board members are Suhail Kazerooni, Hussain Al Qaseer, Isa Jami, Nader Rahimi, Jawad Mahmood, Hussain Abdulhamid, Fuad Kazerooni, Hussain Hassan, Abdulla Ashoor, Ali Abbas and Sayed Mahmood Marhamat.

All general assembly members, who have already paid their membership fees and have been members for a minimum of six months, were eligible to attend this meeting.

The majority members of 64 per cent attended the meeting, during which the administrative and financial reports of the previous period were also discussed.

Possibilities

Attending the meeting from Goys were its clubs affairs director Shaikh Abdulla bin Nizar Al Khalifa and clubs affairs specialist Isa Al Shamlan.

"I have always embarked on the planning and co-ordination to provide all the possibilities for our sports teams to continue their efforts towards more achievements, and sought to develop age groups and the continuation of its bid and the discovery of more talents," said Kazerooni after the meeting.

"In spite of the efforts made by all members of the Board of Directors for various domestic tournaments which we sought, our teams did well in achieving our aspirations and we are so proud of them". Kazerooni noted that all the club's sports teams have already started their preparations for the new season, and wished them all the best.
