NOMAS and Batelco Dreams will clash in the opening match of this year's Batelco Ramadan Football Tournament.

The tournament, to be organised for the 17th consecutive year at the Batelco Staff Centre grounds in Al Hamala, begins on July 23 with eight teams in the fray. They were divided into two groups of four teams.

The draw was held yesterday at the Batelco Staff Centre premises and was attended by executive committee head Mohammed Khalfan, tournament director Hassan Ismail and teams' representatives.

Khalfan, delegating organizing committee chairman Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, welcomed the taking part this year and wished them success.

The tournament's first game between Nomas and Batelco Dreams in Group 'A' is set for 9pm kick-off. Other teams in this group are Al Zallaq and Al Janoub.

In Group 'B', Noor Al Hadi will play along with Abdulaziz Al Sabbagh, Asry and Um Al Hassam.

On the second day of the tournament, Noor Al Hadi take on Abdulaziz Al Sabbagh team at 9pm, while Al Zallaq Centre face Al Janoob on the third day. The fourth day will see Asry encounter Um Al Hassam Club in Group 'B'.
