MANAMA: His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday emphasised that Bahrain and the US regard the region's security and stability as vital.

During a meeting with US Naval Forces Central Command, Joint Navy and Fifth Fleet Commander Admiral John Miller, he hailed the deep bilateral relations between the two countries.

The Premier expressed the need for effective co-operation, especially during the current challenging economic and political situation. Admiral Miller said co-operation between Bahrain and the US is vital for the region's security and stability.
