AN exhibition showcasing Bahrain Training Institute's (BTI) programmes opened yesterday at its premises in Isa Town.
It is being held under Education Minister Dr Majeed Al Nuaimi's patronage until July 26 and coincides with the first semester registration which begins in September.
The ministry's assistant under-secretary of human resources Hassan Saleh Sulaibeekh said the BTI was committed to training the youth for the labour market through globally-accredited programmes.
The expo includes a special section for registration for Tamkeen programmes.
BTI general director Dr Ebrahim Mattar said about 1,500 male and female trainees would be enrolled. The selected applicants will be announced on August 29.
