THE Bahrain Cycling Association's (BCA) competitions committee is organising the second round of the road races tomorrow.

Commencing at 5.30pm from Jabal Al Dukhan in Sakhir area, the race will be over 30km and is open for senior men and under-20 age categories.

Riders from East Riffa, Budaiya, Bani Jamra, Dar Kulaib and Al Shabab and the national cycling team are in the fray. However, international trio - Sayed Ahmed Khalil, Mansoor Jawad and Isa Ayoob are unable to take part as they are currently in Germany for a training camp.

BCA general secretary Sayed Shubbar Al Wedaie said riders ranked from first to six in both age categories will be honoured.

He said a team of BCA umpires will conduct the race, including Adel Al Shamlan, Mansoor Jasim and Jamal Shaheen. The race is supervised by board member Yousef Jawad.
