MANAMA: Bahrain's Ambassador to Russia, Dr Hashim Hassan Al Bash participated in St Petersburg 16th International Economic Forum that concluded yesterday.

The forum, which began on Thursday, focused on issues of modernising and diversifying the Russian economy and ways to benefit from the countries of the world to achieve that.

There was also participation from some Arab and foreign ambassadors accredited in Moscow, a number of ministers, senior officials and businessmen from some Arab and foreign countries, in addition to a large crowd of representatives of the Russian and international media.

The number of delegates taking part was around 5,000, representing more than 50 countries in the world. Meanwhile, the forum included an open dialogue between officials and Russian and Arab businessmen.
