Jobs frustration

Being laid off is an emotional event. I am a Saudi woman living in Bahrain for more than 18 years. I have a degree from Concordia University Canada in business administration and 17 years' experience from airlines to the front desk. I have been sending more than 100 resumes. The reply that I get is the position is for Bahrainis, the human resources co-ordinator her or himself is one, I expect. I am glad if the position is filled by a Bahraini, but it is usually taken by Filipino, Egyptian, Indian or any other nationality.

For example, I applied to Gulf Air and my resume was rejected saying the position was for Bahrainis, but recently I was travelling to Dubai and was surprised to see that the Bahrain Airport ground staff are all Filipinos.

It's very inappropriate to say Saudis are not entitled to jobs in Bahrain. This is insulting.
