A GRADUATION ceremony was held for 22 students from Sanabil Private School (SPS) at Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea and Spa.
Guest of honour was Northern Governor Hassan Jaffar Rajab and keynote speaker was SPS Middle East and Northern African Region chairperson Dr Ara Albert Khatcherian.
Also present were Shura Council member Mohammed Al Sitri, chief executive officer and principal Rudaina Al Alawi, Saudi Prince Bander bin Abdulla Al Saud's adviser Alexander Katrangi, Union for Popular Movement representative Irina Katrangi, who is also Sarkozy Party in Middle East president and board members Mohammed Moosa Al Alawi and Saeed Kadhem Al Alawi.
The event began with an Interior Ministry band playing the National Anthem, followed by a Quran recitation by Wala'a Abdulsalam and a welcome address by student council president Fawaz Mohamed Rabea.
Graduates received their diplomas from executive administration assistant Rojane U Delena, who also awarded the top six including valedictorian Faisal Saleem Albalooshi, salutatorian Zainab Mohamed Al Matar, first honourable mention Mohammed Jehad, second honourable mention Nasreen Adel, third honourable mention Suha Abdulameer and with honours Erich Allen Brinkmeyer.
The valedictory address was given by Mr Albalooshi, while the unified speech was made by Zainab Mohammed Al Matar and a tribute to graduates by Arabic teacher Salah Mahdi.
The graduates were: Fatima Nasser Almahmeed, Hussain Mohammed Khalil Alkhuzaei, Zainab Mohammed Almatar, Faisal Saleem Al Balooshi, Suha Abdulameer Abdulkarim, Mubarak Yaqoob Alotaibi, Alya Yousuf Jaffar Rabea, Fawaz Mohammed Rabea, Nasreen Adel Ahmed Ali, Mohammed Khalid Ali, Asma Dhafer Ali Abdulaal, Mohammed Salah Belai, Mariam Adbulredha Kaviani, Turki Sultan Khairi, Mariam Khalil Mohammed Akbar, Mohammed Jamal Alsalman, Walah Abdulsalam Abdulla Mahmood, Abdulwahab Yaseen Albalooshi, Mohammed Jehad Ahmed Hussain, Fawaz Hassan Alsatrawi, Erich Allen Brinkmeyer and Khalid Waleed Rabah.
