A MAN sustained injuries after he was involved in a four-car accident on Shaikh Zayed Highway, near the junction linking to Shaikh Salman Highway yesterday morning.
He stepped out of his car and fainted with suspected head injuries, said an Interior Ministry official.
However, the other drivers escaped unharmed.
"We are not sure what specific injuries the man has, but as he got out of his car he fainted," said the official.
"He was then taken to hospital.
"There were no signs of injury on the other three drivers."
Traffic police arrived at the scene to help with traffic flow and the scene was cleared within half an hour, it was confirmed.
No further details were provided.
