BAHRAIN drew praise from all the delegates at the United Nations Human Rights Council yesterday for the steps taken by His Majesty King Hamad following the unrest last year.

Delegates said the Bahrain government handled the aftermath professionally by conducting a National Dialogue for all Bahrainis to participate and setting up the Bahrain Independent Commisison of Inquiry to probe the unrest last year.

"As the Kingdom of Bahrain has always believed in the rule of law and committed to implementing BICI's recommendations," said the minister.

"I would also like to say that the door of dialogue is always open for all stakeholders," Dr Ali said in his closing remarks.
