The first edition, to be held on December 15, will be organised in co-operation with the CISM as a large number of riders from around the world are expected to take part.
The organising committee is headed by Shaikh Khalid. It includes Bahrain Military Sports Association president Col. Dawood Hussain Al Manea, CISM vice-president Abdulhakim Al Shino of Bahrain and Dr Khalid Ahmed Hassan.
Meanwhile, CISM president Col Hamad Kalkaba is confident of Bahrain's ability to organise the upcoming event.
Kalkaba said he was pleased to see the available facilities at the Bahrain International Endurance Village in Sakhir, where he witnessed the Crown Prince Cup
