HIS Majesty King Hamad, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty and President of the Supreme Council for Women, led Bahraini dignitaries in congratulating His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, on the graduation his son Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa from the American University, Washington, yesterday.
His Majesty wished Shaikh Isa all success, and appreciated the great and sincere efforts of HRH the Crown Prince during his visit to the US for the interests and welfare of the two friendly countries and their development in all areas.
HRH the Crown Prince also congratulated his son and stressed the vital importance of acquiring higher education in building the nation.
HRH the Crown Prince, who is in Washington, attended Shaikh Isa's graduation ceremony and lauded his son on the effort he had exerted during his studies wishing him further success in utilising the education he had acquired in serving the country and the people of Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty.
HRH the Crown Prince met the university's president Dr Cornelius M Kerwin and extended his thanks and appreciation on the well-organised event along with the high academic standards of the university.
HRH the Crown Prince received cables of congratulations from Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Shaikh Sultan bin Hamad Al Khalifa on Shaikh Isa's graduation.
Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of the Royal Equestrian and Endurance Horse Racing Federation Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa also sent similar cables of congratulations to HRH the Crown Prince.
His Majesty and HRH the Premier yesterday received cables of thanks from HRH the Crown Prince in reply to their cables of congratulations on the graduation of Shaikh Isa.
