ROYAL Endurance Team captain Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has given team member Abdulhaq Kaddouri the go-ahead for his first-ever training experience at the international level.
Kaddouri, the Royal Team rider and head coach, will be travelling to Germany to train riders and prepare their horses for endurance races to be held this summer.
He has been assigned to prepare Hondo and Khatar, two of the best horses owned by the Royal Team.
Hondo has already won this year's King's Cup Ride while Khatar will be preparing to participate at the World Championship in the UK.
The coach will be assisted by two Bahraini riders - Yaqoub Yousef Al Hammadi and Nooruddin Kaddouri.
"This responsibility is certainly going to be tough as both the horses are to be prepared to compete at the World Championships," said Kaddouri.
