TRADITIONS, innovations and heritage dominating the Arab mind will be the subject of a photography exhibition opening on Sunday at Albareh Art Gallery, Adliya.
The solo exhibition is by popular contemporary Algerian artist Hamza Bunoua and his works are charged with symbols, connotations and legends, which portray the gender differences in the Islamic world.
The artist will also present some of his works painted on Plexiglass using elongated Arabic letters, with overlapping colours.
Born in Algeria in 1979, Mr Bunoua studied at the Fine Art Institute of Algeria.
The exhibition will run until June 3 and Albareh Art Gallery is open from Sundays to Thursdays, from 10am to 1pm and from 4pm to 8pm.
The opening will take place from 7pm to 9.30pm.
