MANAMA: Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) is participating in the Benefit Company's direct debit service.
This automated mechanism allows for settlement of utility, telephone bills and any other payments that are made on a regular basis by KFH-Bahrain customers.
"We have all come to depend on the electronic services to provide the best services for our customers," said KFH-Bahrain banking group head Khalid Rafea.
"We believe that these are all necessary steps to fulfil our vision of becoming a market leader in financial products and services and to provide alternative channels through which our customers can securely and dependably manage their banking needs.
"Our customers will now be able to make such payments for more than 10 service providers using this new service," he said.
"It is a simple transaction whereas customers will need to fill in an application form - available with service providers - indicating his or her account number which will permit the automatic debit.
"Subsequently, there is a secure account verification process that allows the billed amounts to be automatically deducted from the customer's designated account," he added.
