STUDENTS at the Bangladesh School have achieved outstanding results in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations, according to officials.
Eight students sat the exams under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, in February.
Science student Nuri Begum was top scorer with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.75, followed by Masud Ahmed with 4.69, Arafat Al Azad scoring 4.25, Hassan with 4.06 and Muhammad Noman Uddin with 3.88.
Other students, who passed with flying colours were Business Studies students Imterun Nahar Reshmi, who scored a GPA of 4.13, Sajedah Mostafa with 3.81 and Afsar Uddin with 3.38.
Bangladesh Ambassador Ali Akbar, who is also the patron-in-chief of the school, congratulated the students on their achievements.
