THE Al Salam School in Budaiya will hold its first book fair from today.

The event is being held under the patronage of Northern Governor Jaffar Bin Rajab and will continue until Thursday.

Book shops and publishers will be present at the school.

Used books (in good condition) donated by students, parents and members of the community during the book fair will be distributed in the school's library and classrooms.

A group of teachers will also carry out a number of activities with students during the school's Science Fair, which will take place simultaneously.

People are welcome to attend from 9am to 1pm and from 4pm to 8pm.
