HANDEN'S Team lifted the Seef Dental Corporate Golf Day trophy, organised by the Royal Golf Club (RGC).
The team of Claus Hansen, Stan Kwik, Graeme Newport and Sanne Smith took first place in the annual event, held at the club's course, with a great net score of 58.2.
Andy Wieser, Karen Black, Shaun Doughty and Robert Addison took second place with a score of 59.9, while the trio of Dena Wales, Ray Bruhn and Eui Moo Koo made up the top three with net 60.3.
Nearly 100 competitors took part in the popular Texas Scramble event on the Club's Montgomerie championship course.
Each player received a Seef Dental goodie bag on arrival for the tournament and African & Eastern provided beverages for them on holes 4 and 15.
A prize-giving ceremony and Mexican themed lunch took place in the Club's stunning Majlis Building after the competition.
"This is one of the Club's most popular events," commented RGC's Golf Operations and Events Manager John Wilson.
"Seef Dental once again tailored the event to ensure everyone really gets involved."
"The backing of sponsors such as Kenneth Cole, Sage and Sirloin, Ramada Hotel, African and Eastern, Boston Medical, Al Ghalia, Senor Pacos, and QGI Golf really generates excitement between competitors when they know they are playing for such great prizes," added Wilson.
